Inspired by [Reuben](https://rubenerd.com/ten-pointless-facts-regarding-me/) (who was in turn inspired by [Forking Mad+](https://forkingmad.blog/ten-pointless-facts-about-me/)) and a desire to do slightly more whimsy things with my blog, here are 10 answers to 10 questions about me.
Please do also feel free to do this if the desire takes you, and let me know if you have done, becauase it's fun and conversations with random people are also fun!

# Do you floss your teeth?
When I remember. I aspire to do it more than I do.
# Tea, coffee, or water?
Coffee if it's the morning, tea if it's the afternoon or the evening and water if I have a headache.
# Footwear preference?
I'm honestly very partial to a pair of boots - the majority of the time I wear my Solovair Astronaut 6 eye boots in greasy black, but if I want something lighter, it'll reach for a pair of Vans.
(I'm a recent Vans convert, actually! I used to be all-in on Converse but I had three pairs fail in exactly the same way after not a particularly long time, so decided to jump ship. As it happens, I find my Vans much more comfortable!)
# Favourite dessert?
Favourite as in "this is the best" might be a white chocolate and raspberry cookie dough and vanilla ice cream. Favourite as in most frequent is a Sainsbury's chocolate chip cookie.
I didn't realise I was so particual to cookie.
# The first thing you do when you wake up?
Attempt to delay waking up any more, then when I inevitably do have to leave bed, have a shower, do my ablutions, find some clothes, find food and find some coffee.
# Age you'd like to stick at?
Pass. I'm not old enough to have an age I want to stick at.
# How many hats do you own?
Zero! They make me look like a doofus. They accentuate my [tic-tac head](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJd2bHwVnLE).
# Describe the last photo you took?
The last photo I took on my smartphone was of my dinner - I'd made a chicken katsu curry with jasmine rice and tenderstem broccoli, but I'd fried my own chicken instead of using pre-breaded, frozen chicken. It was good! Lots of clearing up, and the chicken could have been better seasoned, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Probably won't replicate it for at least another year though, solely on the effort factor.
The last photo I took with a *proper* camera was of my local train station, looking across the tracks and to the exit gates on the other platform. It was taken with my Canonet QL19 GIII on Lomography 400 film. It was on the way to a blood test. The rest of that roll of film was taken around my local area, and I'm quite excited to do something with those photos because there are some really nice ones, I think.

# Worst TV show?
I don't watch much TV, and anything I don't enjoy gets dumped quite fast - though, one of the things I do occasionally watch and consistently don't enjoy is the evening news...
But on a nearly-related note, the worst movie I saw recently was [Black Bag](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30988739). It was like. Fine? To quote my Letterboxd review:
> well put together, but hard to follow because the audio mastering sucked a bit. the plot was decent but not particularly compelling, though it wasn't a bad way to spend 90 minutes. mediocre.
# As a child, what was your aspiration for adulthood?
I wanted to own a Mini Cooper, and have successful business making flying cars. I don't want either any more, honestly, but I would like *a* car so I can go exploring and the like. I might live in a city with decent public transport but I can't help but feel there's so much more world to explore that I can't easily get to.
