title: Intel Will Send You Stickers at an Oddly High Cost to Them

Do you have an Intel chip in a computer and you have a sticker somewhere on it that declares your Intel-dom? Is it falling off, either because the oils from your palm have turned the adhesive to goo or some other cursed reason?

Fear not! Intel is here to save the day.
As it turns out, Intel has the [Intel® Processor Label Replacement](https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000095936/programs.html) programme where, once you have provided the proof of purchase of your Intel/Intel-containing product, you will be sent another sticker, free of charge.
Submit the form and wait an indeterminate amount of time and you shall receive an envelope. In the UK, that envelope is a yellow DHL envelope shipped using Express Domestic shipping - a completely unneccessary option that costs £7.85.

What does this particularly pricey envelope contain?

A very very very well photocopied A4 sheet with a sticker stapled to it.
Assuming a piece of A4 paper costs 1p and the sticker costs 50p to manufacture (it's probably way less), Intel spent 14x the cost of the items inside on shipping here, not including labour or packaging. They could have posted this for 85p using Royal Mail second class.
But hey, if you want Intel to spend weirdly large amounts of money on you, here's how to get them to do it.
